SRU Athletics
Tonight November 13th, both Slippery Rock Men and Women basketball teams have their first home opener. Slippery Rock takes pride in all sports here, but especially basketball. The girls ended their season last year making playoffs for the first time in 11 years I believe. Men's team did excellent as well with a great season. Both teams have been practicing hard so the game tonight should be interesting.
The basketball season for both men and women last year was so exciting! I can't wait to watch them play this year. I don't know much about basketball, but I'm hoping to learn more as I watch the men and women play this year. Are you going to the game tonight? I am and I can' wait!
ReplyDeleteBasketball season is a great time of year! It's always exciting to go and support their team and watch them earn what they work so hard for! The lacrosse team practices on the grasstex and sometimes coach will let us end practice early to go and cheer them on! That's what Rock Athletics is all about! I know they'll have a very successful season.
ReplyDeleteThis is some exciting stuff Kathryn. Basketball season is one of my favorite times of year, especially college basketball. I enjoy watching both our school's teams practice while I workout for track. I know for our woman's team it is exciting to see a team improve over such a short amount of time.
